How to Make a Bigger Room

Have you ever gone to your neighbors house or have seen a screen shot of a house with an odd shaped room that you can't seem to find in the Build section? This quick tutorial will show you in a simple few steps how to achieve that.

Depending on how oddly shaped or how large you want your room will determine how many actual rooms you'll need to create your large/free room. For the purpose of this tutorial, I just made a large rectangular room with several rooms I had in storage. You do not need to use these same rooms to create a larger/free room.

All is left to do with the new extra room is to add floor tile, wallpaper, and furniture.

I know in the past there was a problem with weeds and/or mushrooms growing in the extra room. I am not sure if they fixed that bug.

The Sims Have Tamed the Farm Animals

Since the release of The Sims Social on Facebook a month ago, it has gained about 42 million active players. This surpasses one of Zynga's popular game Farmville by 6 million. Way to go EA and Playfish! I bet this is EA's way of telling Zynga that they still got it and maybe able to take back their title as the gaming giant. We will see if The Sims Social can stay on top. With all the bugs in the game right now, I know the player count is dropping. Only time will tell.

Sims Social Concert coming to a backyard near you!

What better way to tell that special sim you care by jumping on stage and serenading them. Let everyone know they are the plumb bob of your eye.

By trial and error, I have found that the basic TV stands make the best stage. Depending on how big you want your stage will determine how may tables you will use. For my stage, I used 9 tables and laid them horizontally, as seen in the picture. Once those were placed, I put my musical instruments on the stage (I wish I didn't sell my amplifiers) and lights in front. If you notice in the picture, I have no lights in front of the Keyboard. When I placed lights there, the Sim could not get to it.

Now that your stage is set and ready to go, get up there and play with feeling!

Blooming hedges Using the Stacking Method

Once again using the stacking method, we are going to make a regular hedge bloom.

Items you will need:

3 Coffee Tables

1 Square Hedge

1 Tulip (any color)

Step 1: Line your tables up like this-

Step 2: Click on one of the bottom tables and pull it away from the other bottom table.

Step 3: Place table the overhang part of the table into the hedge.

Step 4: Place the tulip on top of the table that is in the hedge.

Step 5: Remove the stacked tables by the bottom table and what remains is your finished creation.

Creating with the Stacking Method

I was going to do a written tutorial with pictures of course on how to use the "stacking method," but I decided to go a step further and just make a video showing. I thought it would be easier doing it that way. Ugh was I wrong. Anyway, I did finally complete it and I have no clue if I will do another tutorial video in the future.
